I help teens and adults who want to be confident and happy but are feeling weighed down by anxiety, stress, and depression. You deserve to live a life filled with purpose and joy, and I’m committed to helping you achieve that! Together, we’ll work through challenges so that you can build confidence, find happiness, and gain insight.

Many of my clients find that issues with loneliness, school, work, relationships, identity, and/or self-esteem makes life difficult to enjoy. They feel stuck due to the problems they are experiencing. I understand and can help. In sessions, we’ll figure out who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there.

Through evidence-based approaches like narrative, solution-focused, and collaborative therapy, we’ll address what’s holding you back. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or simply feeling stuck, I’ll help guide you to clarity, confidence, and next steps.

As part of Halifax’s queer and trans community, I offer affirming and compassionate care backed by a decade of clinical experience. I’m currently the Clinical Director at Insight Mental Health Counselling and my previous work includes being a Counsellor at Dalhousie University and serving as a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for the BC government.
